After seeing la primavera, I had to have a good Rocio Durcal cd. Rocio Durcal had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Since completing 0’s ‘la primavera’, Rocio Durcal fulfilled their contract with Mute Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Rocio Durcal - Vol.2 EP (1966-69) Cd2 is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Rocio Durcal rocks harder than ever with la campana. In los nardos Rocio Durcal spins a tale you want to hear to the end. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. las viudas is beautiful, yet underrated track. cancion canaria as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. lo mismo que a usted is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. I now have la chica de hoy as one of my personal favorites. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. encuentro is absolutely incredible. leccion de amor - a classic song. todo es mio - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Rocio Durcal. vidalita is the albums biggest surprise. This is one hell of a track. mascia is one of these floating songs. vaquerod de oklahoma is such a astounding and optimistic song that things can get just better. Rocio Durcal emotions are reflected through el rei que rabio. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing.
