Since completing 0’s ‘y nos dieron las diez(con juaquin sabina)’, Rocio Durcal fulfilled their contract with Savoy Records and where under no obligation to release another album. After seeing y nos dieron las diez(con juaquin sabina), I had to have a good Rocio Durcal cd. To me Rocio Durcal is the best band ever.
cuando decidas volver is the funkiest number on the album. me nace del corazon - Rocio Durcal first major hit. tarde is the most memorable and exquisite. asi son los hombres - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. porque te quiero is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. sombras…nada mas is probably one of Rocio Durcal’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Rocio Durcal allows each song to breathe and flourish. como han pasado los anos is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Rocio Durcal ever produced. para toda la vida actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Rocio Durcal’s face. This track is clearly meant to showcase Rocio Durcal’s vocal abilities. In te sigo amando the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Overall a nice softer song. Rocio Durcal rocks harder than ever with con todo y mi tristeza. Rocio Durcal offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. I loved fue un placer conocerte the first time I heard it. ya te olvide presents the perfect mix of instruments on Rocio Durcal CD1. quedate conmigo esta noche is a bit of a show-tune. It took me a little time but I ended up loving echame a mi la culpa. In me gustas mucho full palet of sound is used by Rocio Durcal to accentuate the presentation.
