Lead single “Scarborough Fair” and “A Wood Land Night” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Now signed to Bandari’s Virgin Records, the title track from second album “Bandari Sound From Holes” leads Bandari’s back-to-school campaign. eight years ago, Bandari briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “A Wood Land Night”. Last Hot Album by Bandari
In A Wood Land Night it becomes nowhere more obvious that Bandari has yet to define own style. Flight Of The Condor is the funkiest number on the album. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Bandari emotions are reflected through Elves Of The Night. Callas Went Away - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. The Eyes Of Truth is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Orlando. As always, Bandari’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Le Jardin - My least favorite song on this album. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Passacaglia is simply exquisite. Now We Are Free is absolutely incredible. I hope to keep hearing Bandari works for a long time to come. Turning one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard.
