After seeing Tonight, I had to have a good Jose Carreras cd. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Jose Carreras’s album Memories falls to No. 2 with 748,000, a sales slide of 78%. Jose Carreras was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Jose Carreras and Memories together. Memories is the best essence of Jose Carreras.
Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Memories is E la solita storia. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. The first time I listened to Vesti la giubba I was struck by its cool sound. Mattinata gives good insight into the truths. Una furtiva lacrima makes a person feel excellent. Memories - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Jose Carreras. Listening to Pourquoi me reveiller you can hear that Jose Carreras has still amazing chemistry with band members. O sole mio is a very catchy tune. E lucevan le stelle is one of the best records ever. Core ngrato is simple, dignified and effective, Jose Carreras refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. I love the melodic melody of Di quella pira and to this day it makes me feel good. O surdato nnamurato is another strong production from Jose Carreras. Che gelida manina is worth the money. Once you hear Parlami d amore, you will listen to it over and over. This song stands out greatly from the others.
