Stan Getz had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. I am not a real Jazz music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Apasionado’ really is amazing. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Stan Getz on ‘Apasionado’. Exciting stuff.
Coba - My least favorite song on this album. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Espa as a highlight of Apasionado contains a ton of exquisite melodies. Madrugada is a gorgeous sing-along. Amorous Cat marked the continuation of Stan Getz in style evolution. Although Midnight Ride is very melodic it is far from sad. Lonely Lady motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others.
