A great put together song. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. It’s such an underrated song. I love the melodic melody of Major General and to this day it makes me feel good. Stan Getz sings Folk Tune for Bass in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Vocals of Stan Getz in Tonight I Shall Sleep Desafinado really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. All the Things You Are rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. I hope to keep hearing Stan Getz works for a long time to come. Blew our minds when we first heard One Note Samba.
