Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of The Hollies on ‘What a Life I’ve Led’. The Hollies was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from The Hollies and Distant Light together. It has been five years The Hollies’ last studio CD, “Distant Light” which won Array Academy Awards� and was nominated for album of the year. One of The Hollies’s best albums yet.
Look What We’ve Got is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Hold On is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. To Do With Love - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of The Hollies. A fantastic track full of wonder. Long Cool Woman (In a Black Dress) is a very catchy tune. This song may be the most meaningful. Cable Car is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. After few listenings I started to like A Little Thing Like Love more and more. The Hollies has astounded me with this amazing track.
