There is no doubt that Al Bano has talent. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Al Bano on ‘La Historia De Maria’. This album has some very good songs like La Historia De Maria and Armor De Medianoche. Su cara su sonrisa touched my soul like nothing else.
Armor De Medianoche - This one is lively and fun. I was truly moved when I heard Mireya. La Casa Del Amor is probably one of Al Bano’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Taca taca banda is a song to enjoy for years to come. Don’t judge En Silencio on the first listening. Su cara su sonrisa - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. El sol duerme make listening to Al Bano like being in some sort of time warp. Only one song from Su cara su sonrisa named Ave Maria really got me. It took me a little time but I ended up loving El prado del carido. I can’t stop humming along Noches de seda. Angeles Sin Paraiso one is one of the better boring ones.
