Now signed to Less Than Jake’s ForeFront Records, the title track from second album “In With The Out Crowd” leads Less Than Jake’s back-to-school campaign. Self-described as Rock: Punk-Rock with lots of words, Less Than Jake comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Less Than Jake energies, virtually a rebirth. If I may, I suggest “soundtrack of my life”. That one song is amazing!
In With The Out Crowd couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track a still life franchise. First time I heard overrated was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.fall apart - Okay, I just talked about depth. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is in-dependence day because the melody in the chorus is so good. don’t fall asleep on the subway is such a astounding and optimistic song that things can get just better. As always, Less Than Jake’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. the rest of my life - This one is lively and fun. mostly memories is a song to enjoy for years to come. Although let her go is very melodic it is far from sad. I like to sing along with hopeless case, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. p.s. shock the world as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature.
