This -song debut EP shows the promise that Gloria Trevi has. Self-described as Latin with lots of words, Gloria Trevi comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Gloria Trevi was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Gloria Trevi and Discografia Casi Completa Y Extras together. Gloria Trevi “Discografia Casi Completa Y Extras” is an amazing album.
PELO SUELTO gives taste of what makes Gloria Trevi special as a musician. After you’ve listened to TU ANGEL DE LA GUARDA, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. I was truly moved when I heard HOY ME IRE DE CASA. JACK EL REPROBADOR one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. MADRE is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. CON LOS OJOS CERRADOS is another strong production from Gloria Trevi. A GATAS is a song to enjoy for years to come. In QUE CAMINEN POR ALLI you won’t find any flashy solos. ZAPATOS VIEJOS - Okay, I just talked about depth. PORQUE SE FUE is one of the coolest songs Gloria Trevi has ever recorded. ME DEJASTE still maintains something of a specific flourish. ME SIENTO TAN SOLA - My least favorite song on this album. LEDY DY is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Music in LLEVAME CONTIGO is astounding as in all tracks of Discografia Casi Completa Y Extras. AGARRATE is really a nice song to relax and listen too. This track is full of harmonies and gets Discografia Casi Completa Y Extras off to a relaxing start. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. There is cool mix of music in EL RECUENTO DE LOS DA!OS.
