There is so much to love about Trust Company, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This album has some very good songs like Stronger and The War Is Over. Trust Company’s debut, ‘True Parallels’, does not fit easily into one genre. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
In The War Is Over the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Slave is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Fold still maintains something of a specific flourish. The Reflection is a great opener for True Parallels. Breaking Down is the most memorable and excellent. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Rock The Casbah is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Silently is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Erased is perfect. I’ve found myself listening to Without A Trace back to back and back many times. Retina is the albums biggest surprise.
