After seeing Nuages, I had to have a good Django Reinhardt cd. Since Django Reinhardt last CD (Jazz Masters 38) on Savoy Records back in 0, I have felt a massive void in my life. When you buy a Django Reinhardt album, you know exactly what you’re getting! This album is awesome.
Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. This track is clearly meant to showcase Django Reinhardt’s vocal abilities. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Jazz Masters 38. Please Be Kind is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. H.C.Q. Strut is a very catchy tune. Love’s Melody - I like this one. Sweet Georgia Brown stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Some call The Man I Love from Jazz Masters 38 as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Music in Belleville is excellent as in all tracks of Jazz Masters 38. The song feels complete. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Djangology has a fun tempo. Anniversary Song (3:36) - awsome. Swing 48 is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. After few listenings I started to like Night and Day more and more.
