I am not a real Jazz music type of person, but i have to admit ‘The Indispensable 1949-1950 [US 2 Disc] Disc 2′ really is amazing. Django Reinhardt was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Django Reinhardt and The Indispensable 1949-1950 [US 2 Disc] Disc 2 together. This is the first studio album from Django Reinhardt since bad diagnosis in 1949. Daphne and I’ll Never Be the Same is really good.
Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Marie is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Jersey Bounce is a very catchy tune. A unique and uplifting song. I listened to the opening track Hallelujah and liked it a lot. Listening to Anniversary Song you can hear that Django Reinhardt has still amazing chemistry with band members. What sets After You’ve Gone apart is Django Reinhardt’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Stormy Weather is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Once you hear Brick Top, you will listen to it over and over. Musically Lover Man is superior to other tracks in The Indispensable 1949-1950 [US 2 Disc] Disc 2. I Got Rhythm is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through The Indispensable 1949-1950 [US 2 Disc] Disc 2. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Honeysuckle Rose. St. Louis Blues is the first taste of the new album. Sophisticated Lady is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Darktown Strutters’ Ball is a song to enjoy for years to come. Royal Garden Blues is one of the best records ever.
