This is the first studio album from Freedom since bad diagnosis in 1969. Lead single “Enchanted Wood” and “Deep Down In The Bottom” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This thirteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Freedom has. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
Deep Down In The Bottom is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Have Love Will Travel is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Cry Baby Cry is another favourite of mine. Time Of The Season is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Voice of Freedom in Hoo Doo Man is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Built For Comfort - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Fly gives taste of what makes Freedom special as a musician. Never Loved A Girl - I just love it. After few listenings I started to like My Life more and more. Can’t Stay With Me is the amazing blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Dusty Track is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit.
