It’s natural for Scotland The Brave to take a stab at ‘Regimental Comapny March’ considering her long-professed love for KLF. Self-described as Pop with lots of words, Scotland The Brave comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Scotland The Brave was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Scotland The Brave and Scotland The Brave together. Scotland The Brave touched my soul like nothing else.
Blew our minds when we first heard The Battle of the Somme. First time I heard The River Kwai March was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.MacGregor’s March one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Scotland The Brave, which shows, blatantly, how much Scotland The Brave has evolved as a singer. On The Square March is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. In Wee MacGregor you won’t find any flashy solos. This track is full of harmonies and gets Scotland The Brave off to a relaxing start. Moray Firth is the song that really did it for me. One listen to the sheer beauty of The Gerl I Left Behind Me was all I needed. Swing Of The Kilt is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Piboch good vocals. This is one hell of a track. Pipe Medley No. 2 is pretty funky and mellow. My Home In The Green Hills one is one of the better boring ones. In Route March full palet of sound is used by Scotland The Brave to accentuate the presentation. H. M. Jollies is possibly the best song Scotland The Brave has come up. Reveille is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Retreat Set hits the heart. You have to get essence of the When The Battle Is Over’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Regimental March is a bit of a show-tune. This song stands out greatly from the others.
