On the Italy charts, superstar Vladimir Cosma’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. This disc has all of the essential Vladimir Cosma classics. Vladimir Cosma had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Theme Du Chien
I think Theme Du Chien is the best song Vladimir Cosma has ever done. I find myself hearing bits of Le Repos D`alexandre here and there throughout my waking hours. Viens, Le Chien is astounding. Les Travaux D`alexandre great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Strong, powerful vocals of Vladimir Cosma in Le Ciel, La Terre Et L`eau are very impressive. L`homme Et Son Chien is worth the money. This track is clearly meant to showcase Vladimir Cosma’s vocal abilities. La Sieste the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Les Vacances D`alexandre is the first taste of the new album. Attaque Villageoise is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. The first time I listened to En Conge Pour La Vie I was struck by its perfect sound. La Belle Agathe is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Les Oiseaux Poetiques is another favourite of mine. Jerk Campagnard is simple, dignified and effective, Vladimir Cosma refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. L`armoire Aux Lapins I just LOVE this mix! La Noce En Fuite - Check out that bassline!
