This disc has all of the essential Vladimir Cosma classics. This is the first studio album from Vladimir Cosma since bad diagnosis in 1969. On Insolite and Co album, Vladimir Cosma have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This album is a scorcher!
Pavane Spatiale is a bit different from Vladimir Cosma stereotypical stuff. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. All of songs on Insolite and Co and have something to say letting alone Informatique. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Insolite and Co. Mecanissimo is a great opener for Insolite and Co. Batiskafka is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Anticorps is one of the best records ever. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Obsexion is almost impossible to review. One listen to the sheer beauty of Cristallisation was all I needed. Etherisation is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music.
