Since Vladimir Cosma last CD (Les Aventures De Tom Sawyer) on Savoy Records back in 1969, I have felt a massive void in my life. Lead single “Main Theme” and “The ‘paul Jones’” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Vladimir Cosma energies, virtually a rebirth. Les Aventures De Tom Sawyer is not something you should pass up.
The ‘paul Jones’ - Check out that bassline! Indian Joe on Les Aventures De Tom Sawyer is solid and easy to listen to. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Huckleberry Finn. End Titles (2:08) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs.
