It has been nine years Vladimir Cosma’ last studio CD, “Salut L`artiste (Film De Yves Robert)” which won Array Emmy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. When you buy a Vladimir Cosma album, you know exactly what you’re getting! This album has some very good songs like Yves Et Daniele and Valse Sifflotante. Salut L`artiste (Film De Yves Robert) constantly brilliant.
Valse Sifflotante as a highlight of Salut L`artiste (Film De Yves Robert) contains a ton of astounding melodies. A unique and uplifting song. Salut L’artiste is simple, dignified and effective, Vladimir Cosma refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. A fantastic track full of wonder. Les Fillettes have really caught my ear and imagination. Hip Pop is probably the highlight of the album. Vocals of Vladimir Cosma in Tropique really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. In Derriere La Vitre it becomes nowhere more obvious that Vladimir Cosma has yet to define own style. I find myself hearing bits of La Separation here and there throughout my waking hours.
