Since Ernesto Cortazar last CD (Ballerina) on Mute Records back in 0, I have felt a massive void in my life. Ernesto Cortazar had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Ernesto Cortazar energies, virtually a rebirth. This album is a scorcher!
Intermezzo is just simply stunning. I have all of Ernesto Cortazar’s tracks and Music Box is probably the most his introspective effort. I can’t stop playing Nightingale. Ernesto Cortazar is hitting on all cylinders in The 3Rd Act. Piruette is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Intimate Liaison is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Voice and instruments in Nights Of Silk And Tears complement each other.
