This disc has all of the essential Krokus classics. John Digester has compared writing for Krokus’s new album to that on ‘Pay It In Metal’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. ‘Pay It In Metal’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
No Krokus song has come close to capturing my attention as Werewolf did. Rock Ladies (2:45) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! I think Bad Love is the best song Krokus has ever done. Get Out Of My Mind is the albums biggest surprise. Krokus sings Rock Me, Rock You in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. This song may be the most meaningful. Susie is pretty funky and mellow. Pay It! as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Bye Bye Baby because the melody in the chorus is so good.
