It’s natural for Vicente Fernandez to take a stab at ‘LA ESTRELLITA’ considering her long-professed love for Babylon Zoo. This album has some very good songs like LA ESTRELLITA and LA MUERTE DE UN GALLERO. It has been thirteen years Vicente Fernandez’ last studio CD, “Collection CD Vicente Fernandez Part 7″ which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Overall, I would highly recommend Collection CD Vicente Fernandez Part 7 CD.
LA MUERTE DE UN GALLERO is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. LA REFINERA is a very catchy tune. LA RULETA is simple, dignified and effective, Vicente Fernandez refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. La Ley de la Vida - arguably the best track on Collection CD Vicente Fernandez Part 7 album. Vicente Fernandez sings La Ley del Monte in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think La Mitad de mi Orgullo is my favorite song on Collection CD Vicente Fernandez Part 7. La Peor De Mis Locuras is a good listen every once in a while. La Primera Con Agua - Vicente Fernandez first major hit. La Tercera Carta is absolutely incredible. La Tumba Abandonada - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Once La Yegua Palomina gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. I like to sing along with La mentira, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Las Llaves De Mi Alma hits the heart. I like the idea behind Las botas de charro. Las Mananitas is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Music and lyrics of Lastima Que Seas Ajena creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Le Pusieron Siete Leguas motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion.
