There is so much to love about Suzi Quatro, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Lead single “I Bit Off More Than I Could Chew” and “Strip Me” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Suzi Quatro. Suzi Quatro is one of my favourite bands of all time.
In Strip Me the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Paralysed is absolutely incredible. Prisoner Of Your Imagination as a highlight of Your Mama Won’t Like Me contains a ton of exquisite melodies. Your Mamma Won’t Like Me is one of my favorite songs by Suzi Quatro. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Can’t Trust Love is my favorite song on Your Mama Won’t Like Me. New Day Woman is a exquisite sing-along. Fever rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. The sound of You Can Make is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. I’ve found myself listening to Michael back to back and back many times.
