Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Edwyn Collins on ‘One Is A Lonely Number’. It has been fourteen years Edwyn Collins’ last studio CD, “Home Again” which won Array Academy Awards� and was nominated for album of the year. Home Again is an amazing album, racked with beauty.If I may, I suggest “One Is A Lonely Number”. That one song is amazing!
I believe Home Again is one of the most cool, heartfelt songs ever written. Simple and heartfelt closing track You’ll Never Know (My Love) closes Home Again on a high note. This song stands out greatly from the others. Leviathan is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. It’s In Your Heart - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Superstar Talking Blues is possibly the best song Edwyn Collins has come up. Liberteenage Rag is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. A Heavy Sigh is the gorgeous blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. The opening track Written In Stone is very much like you would expect from other albums. Some call One Track Mind from Home Again as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. All of songs on Home Again and have something to say letting alone Then I Cried.
