Carlos Gardel had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. I am not a real Pop music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Todo Gardel 1917′ really is amazing. entre colores is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. el sol del 25 is another strong production from Carlos Gardel. a mi morocha is a medium tempo tune. Voice and instruments in brisas complement each other. Still going through Todo Gardel 1917 and coming to appreciate el pangare more and more with every listen. la huella - A classic Carlos Gardel track. lamariposa - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. la criolla is simple, dignified and effective, Carlos Gardel refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is el moro. una rosa para mi rosa is one of the best records ever. gaucha gives good insight into the truths. recuerdos has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Carlos Gardel’s strong vocals come to the fore. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. el tirador plateado marked the continuation of Carlos Gardel in style evolution. la china fiera (3:24) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! This is one hell of a track. Listening to amargura you can hear that Carlos Gardel has still amazing chemistry with band members.
