Not surprising from Carlos Gardel and Todo Gardel 1925 Vol.1 together. sixteen years ago, Carlos Gardel briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “ave cantora”. Exciting stuff.
ave cantora is simply astounding. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. You have to get essence of the milonguera’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. This track is clearly meant to showcase Carlos Gardel’s vocal abilities. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Carlos Gardel. The first time I listened to jiron de pampa I was struck by its marvelous sound. I hope to keep hearing Carlos Gardel works for a long time to come. es tanto - My least favorite song on this album. The sound in mentiras is really warm and Carlos Gardel’s signature voice is still very much present. From the moment you listen to idilio you’re hooked. When I listen to una noche in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. guamini is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. I loved sonsa the first time I heard it. adelante catches attention immediately,
