After seeing Carinito, I had to have a good Carlos Gardel cd. There is so much to love about Carlos Gardel, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Now signed to Carlos Gardel’s Columbia Records, the title track from second album “Todo Gardel 1929 Vol.2″ leads Carlos Gardel’s back-to-school campaign. This album is awesome.
Tan grande y tan zonzo is the song that really did it for me. Primero yo is one of my favorite songs by Carlos Gardel. La casita esta triste is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. You can find feelings on this piece of art. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. I loved La dama de blanco the first time I heard it. Paseo de Julio is cool work of Carlos Gardel. Que fenomeno is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. When listening to Rie payaso, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Margaritas is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Carlos Gardel rocks harder than ever with Maryflor. Carlos Gardel emotions are reflected through El barbijo. No Carlos Gardel song has come close to capturing my attention as Yo beso vuestra mano senora did. I like the agression and power of Culpas ajenas. Best song on the album, love it. Esta vida es puro grupo marked the continuation of Carlos Gardel in style evolution. Lyrics of El cimarron del estribo are precise and evocative. Flor campera has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Carlos Gardel’s strong vocals come to the fore. I like Garabatos de mujer because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Victoria on Todo Gardel 1929 Vol.2 is solid and easy to listen to.
