This disc has all of the essential Carlos Gardel classics. Carlos Gardel had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. One of Carlos Gardel’s best albums yet.
Yo naci para ti tu seras para mi is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Viejo jardin is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. El sol del 25 was the first single release from the album Todo Gardel 1930 Vol.3. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Viva la patria is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Mananita de campo has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Carlos Gardel’s strong vocals come to the fore. El quinielero (2:40) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Incurable is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Yira-Yira is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. This track is clearly meant to showcase Carlos Gardel’s vocal abilities. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Anoche a las dos presents the marvelous mix of instruments on Todo Gardel 1930 Vol.3. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Araca Paris - Check out that bassline! Carlos Gardel breathes new life into the music in La pastelera. Farolito de papel is Carlos Gardel’s best work in years. One listen to the sheer beauty of Llevame carretero was all I needed. Pituca is absolutely incredible. Viejo smoking is a song to enjoy for years to come. Insomnio is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit.
