Todo Gardel 1930 Vol.4 carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. I am not a real Pop music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Todo Gardel 1930 Vol.4′ really is amazing. Since completing 0’s ‘Clavel del aire’, Carlos Gardel fulfilled their contract with Virgin Records and where under no obligation to release another album. One of Carlos Gardel’s best albums yet.
La tropilla - another great track from the Todo Gardel 1930 Vol.4 album. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. No llore viejita gives good insight into the truths. Music and lyrics of Caprichosa creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Giuseppe el zapatero I just LOVE this mix! Pituca - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Araca Paris is probably one of Carlos Gardel’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Recordando mi barrio (2:38) a good melody. Carlos Gardel rocks harder than ever with Murmullos. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Lyrics of Por seguidora y por fiel are precise and evocative. Within the first few notes of Mala suerte it’s perfectly clear that Carlos Gardel is living this song. Nice and different song. A great put together song. Album opener Muchachos silencio is a bright, upbeat ditty. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Carlos Gardel is hitting on all cylinders in Chinita. La mariposa (3:06) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! In Lo han visto con otra Carlos Gardel spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Palomita blanca. Silbando - For me, this is the best of the album. Blew our minds when we first heard Intimas. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly.
