On Todo Gardel Extra album, Carlos Gardel have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Carlos Gardel’s album Todo Gardel Extra falls to No. 2 with 512,000, a sales slide of 85%. This is the first studio album from Carlos Gardel since bad diagnosis in 0. Overall, I would highly recommend Todo Gardel Extra CD.
Nena is marvelous song though, very addictive. Opening track Zaraza shows the best of Carlos Gardel. Preguntenselo a eya very upbeat. Cancion de Mayo - This one is lively and fun. In Los ultimos gauchos the music gets its power. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. When listening to Manos brujas, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Quejas del alma is a bit different from Carlos Gardel stereotypical stuff. La cumparsita one of the best in my collection. A orillas del Sena (2:29) a good melody. I love the melodic melody of Nueve de julio and to this day it makes me feel good. Resignate hermano - I just love it. Re-fa-si is a very catchy tune. Trenzas negras as a highlight of Todo Gardel Extra contains a ton of amazing melodies. Carlos Gardel offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Habla Carlos Gardel is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Volver is a striking and quite long song.
