It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Ella Fitzgerald energies, virtually a rebirth. ‘These Are The Blues’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. There is no doubt that Ella Fitzgerald has talent. IT makes me wanna dance!
In The Evening (When The Sun Goes Down) is a cool sing-along. Song See, See Rider is actually a funny song. You Don’t Know My Mind is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. When I listen to Trouble In Mind in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Cherry Red is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Down Hearted Blues is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. St. Louis Blues is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Hear Me Talking To Ya is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music.
