On the Jamaica charts, superstar Ocarina’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. For older fans Ocarina I will put a massive smile accross your face. After seeing Song Of Ocarina, I had to have a good Ocarina cd. To me Ocarina is the best band ever.
Moonlight Reggae - For me, this is the best of the album. Some call Iplora (Violoncelle, Flute, Ocarina) from Ocarina I as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Ocarina Burning is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. In Girl From Key Viscayne Ocarina is at his best. Bonecas De Plata is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Amara is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Ocarina I. Song Of Ocarina (Ocarina Solo) is simply excellent. A great put together song. Still going through Ocarina I and coming to appreciate Bag Pipe Reggae more and more with every listen. Ocarina sings Implora (Flute Solo) in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved.
