Best isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. There is no doubt that Andru Donalds has talent. This disc has all of the essential Andru Donalds classics. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Best.
It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Simple Obsession, which shows, blatantly, how much Andru Donalds has evolved as a singer. (I’m Not Your) One Night Lover good vocals. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Hurts To Be Love - A catchy, upbeat tune. Without A Sound is marvelous work of Andru Donalds. In My Place Is Here it becomes nowhere more obvious that Andru Donalds has yet to define own style. Dream On is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Showing Under My Skin is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Someday is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Michele is a good listen every once in a while. Get Best and turn on Send Me A Sign if you are going to sip your wine late at night. My Sensual Love is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Living For Tomorrow is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Precious Little Diamond (ATB airplay mix) is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite.
