Unexpected is an amazing album, racked with beauty.After debuting at No. 1 last week, Lumidee’s album Unexpected falls to No. 2 with 943,000, a sales slide of 78%. Since completing 2007’s ‘I’m Up’, Lumidee fulfilled their contract with Virgin Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This is one of Lumidee best albums
Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think He Told Me is my favorite song on Unexpected. Best song on the album, love it. So Cool…Hollywood - I just love it. Nice and different song. In Cute Boy Lumidee spins a tale you want to hear to the end. I loved She’s Like the Wind - Lumidee, Tony Sunshine the first time I heard it. Some of the arrangements found on Unexpected are surprisingly edgy. I have all of Lumidee’s tracks and Stuck on You is probably the most his introspective effort. Lumidee has astounded me with this amazing track. Crazy - Lumidee great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Could Be Anything - To me, this is the best song on the Unexpected. You Got Me - Lumidee, N.O.R.E. actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Lumidee’s face. In Whistle Song full palet of sound is used by Lumidee to accentuate the presentation. She’s Like the Wind [Spanlish Version] [*][Version] - Lumidee, Tony Sunshine stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Did You Imagine the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Passin’ Thru - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love.
