This is the first studio album from Roger Waters since bad diagnosis in 1970. Roger Waters’s debut, ‘Music From ”The Body”’, does not fit easily into one genre. Music From ”The Body” carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Overall, I would highly recommend Music From ”The Body” CD.
Sea Shell and Stone is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Red Stuff Writhe - I like this one. A Gentle Breeze Blew Through Life - Check out that bassline! Lick Your Partners is one of the more up-tempo songs on Music From ”The Body”. Roger Waters offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Chain Of Life - arguably the best track on Music From ”The Body” album. The Womb Bit is one of the best records ever. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Music From ”The Body”. This song is dynamic and dramatic. More Than Seven Dwarfs In Penis-Land is beautiful, yet underrated track. Dance Of The Red Corpuscles - A nice song. In Body Transport Roger Waters is at his best. Hand Dance-Full Evening Dress is the most memorable and cool. Breathe is pretty funky and mellow. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Old Folks Ascension is my favorite song on Music From ”The Body”. In Bed-Time-Dream-Chime Roger Waters spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Piddle In Perspex is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Embryonic Womb-Walk (1:22) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Mrs. Throat Goes Walking is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect.
