It’s natural for The Shadows to take a stab at ‘I Only Want To Be With You (Stereo)’ considering her long-professed love for Green Grey. Now signed to The Shadows’s EMI Records, the title track from second album “Shadow Music” leads The Shadows’s back-to-school campaign. This disc has all of the essential The Shadows classics. Shadow Music is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Fourth Street (Stereo) is the album’s biggest hit, I think. When listening to The Magic Doll (Stereo), it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Stay Around (Stereo) is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. I can’t stop humming along Maid Marion’s Theme (Stereo). Benno-San (Stereo) - A catchy, upbeat tune. Don’t Stop Now (Stereo) is really the reason why I recommend buying Shadow Music. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Once Fly Me To The Moon (Stereo) gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Razzmataz (Stereo) is the albums biggest surprise. A Sigh (Un Sospero; Stereo) is nothing but pure genius. From the moment you listen to March To Drina (Stereo) you’re hooked.
