There is no doubt that AR Rahman has talent. Self-described as Folk with lots of words, AR Rahman comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Desam isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Malai Mega-Beat still maintains something of a specific flourish. Malai Mega - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Lyrics of Theenana Munnana are precise and evocative. Unnai Kelai is really the reason why I recommend buying Desam. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Unthen Desathin was the first single release from the album Desam. UnthenDesathin-Beat is amazing song though, very addictive.
