On the Australia charts, superstar Brenda Lee’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. IF YOU LIKE ALL Brenda Lee’S SONG GO FOR IT! All Time Greatest Hits Disk 1 carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Jambalaya (On The Bayou)
This track is full of harmonies and gets All Time Greatest Hits Disk 1 off to a relaxing start. Sweet Nothin’s is the more seemingly obscure song on All Time Greatest Hits Disk 1 that bear up best to repeated listening. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on All Time Greatest Hits Disk 1 is Coming On Strong. I came to like Strangers In The Night. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Listening to All Alone Am I you can hear that Brenda Lee has still amazing chemistry with band members. Break It To Me Gently is probably the most interesting track on All Time Greatest Hits Disk 1. Bill Bailey, Won’t You Ple is simple, dignified and effective, Brenda Lee refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Dynamite - I just love it. Fool #1 - A nice song.
