Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Neophyte on ‘Perestroi! ka’. On Entree En Matiere album, Neophyte have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This album has some very good songs like Perestroi! ka and Ma Generation. This is what good Rock: Punk-Rock should be.
Ma Generation is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Sommeil is a very catchy tune. Simple&complexe is a song to enjoy for years to come. Neophyte rocks harder than ever with Devenir le roi. Entree En Matiere couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Delirium Tremens. Opening track Blonde aux cheveux teints shows the best of Neophyte. Unis par le vin sets the tone for the entire album. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Semblant d’intelligence is a perfect sing-along. Revolte et determination without a doubt is the standout song of Entree En Matiere.
