It has been eleven years Lea Salonga’ last studio CD, “Ultimate Opm Collection” which won Array Academy Awards� and was nominated for album of the year. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Lea Salonga’s album Ultimate Opm Collection falls to No. 2 with 632,000, a sales slide of 56%. I am not a real Soundtrack music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Ultimate Opm Collection’ really is amazing. This album is in perfect progression from Lea Salonga!
Nandito Ako catches attention immediately, Tell Me the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. After few listenings I started to like That Situation more and more. Please Naman is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Kaibigan is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Overall a nice softer song. I Still Believe which is my favorite is a truly Lea Salonga sounding song. Mula Noon, Hanggang Ngayon (4:19) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Lea Salonga is hitting on all cylinders in Only You. Minsan, Isang Kahapon is one of these floating songs. A unique and uplifting song.
