Leonard Cohen’s debut, ‘Grand Collection’, does not fit easily into one genre. Grand Collection carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. ‘Grand Collection’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
Waiting For The Miracle is a great opener for Grand Collection. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. I’m Your Man marked the continuation of Leonard Cohen in style evolution. Take This Waltz is a striking and quite long song. Anthem is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Leonard Cohen sings his heart out in Democracy. The sound in Tower Of Song is really warm and Leonard Cohen’s signature voice is still very much present. Never Any Good is a good listen every once in a while. Dance Me To The End Of Love very upbeat. The song feels complete. Suzanne - My least favorite song on this album.
