After debuting at No. 1 last week, Creedence Clearwater Revival’s album Collection falls to No. 2 with 677,000, a sales slide of 87%. Self-described as Jazz with lots of words, Creedence Clearwater Revival comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Collection isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Collection.
Green River makes a person feel marvelous. Creedence Clearwater Revival emotions are reflected through Cotton Fields. Pround Mary good vocals. Hey Tonight still maintains something of a specific flourish. Bad Moon Rising is one of the coolest songs Creedence Clearwater Revival has ever recorded. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Creedence Clearwater Revival. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Ooby Dooby from the beginning to the end. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Collection is Tombstone Shadow. It Came Out Of The Sky is nothing but pure genius. This track is full of harmonies and gets Collection off to a relaxing start. Only one song from Collection named Molina really got me. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Lodi because the melody in the chorus is so good. Suzie Q is the song that really did it for me. Sweet Hitch - Kiker is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Creedence Clearwater Revival rocks harder than ever with Fortunate Son. Travelin’ Band to me is the best you can get from Creedence Clearwater Revival. No Creedence Clearwater Revival song has come close to capturing my attention as Down On The Corner did. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. I Put A Speel On You motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Once I Heard It Through The Grapevine gets in your head, it will NEVER leave.
