Olympia 1968 Live is an amazing album, racked with beauty. There were many famous songs of Charles Aznavour available. This is the first studio album from Charles Aznavour since bad diagnosis in 1968. Exciting stuff.
This song is dynamic and dramatic. Ma Mie is probably the highlight of the album. This is probably my favorite song on the album. I’ve found myself listening to Comme Une Maladie back to back and back many times. Emmenez-moi gives taste of what makes Charles Aznavour special as a musician. De T’avoir Aimee on Olympia 1968 Live is solid and easy to listen to. I was truly moved when I heard Et Moi Dans Mon Coin. Le Cabotin is the albums biggest surprise. Sa Jeunesse - Hier Encore is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Olympia 1968 Live have ended. I listened to the opening track Les Enfants De La Guerre and liked it a lot. Paris Au Mois D’aout (3:38) - awsome. Best song on the album, love it.
