After debuting at No. 1 last week, GLAY’s album LOVE IS BEAUTIFUL falls to No. 2 with 851,000, a sales slide of 52%. This is the first studio album from GLAY since bad diagnosis in 2007. After seeing ROCKNROLL SWINDLE, I had to have a good GLAY cd. LOVE IS BEAUTIFUL is the best essence of GLAY.
AMERICAN INNOVATION is pretty funky and mellow. Lyrics of ANSWER are precise and evocative. The song feels complete. SCREAM as a highlight of LOVE IS BEAUTIFUL contains a ton of cool melodies. Music in track11 is excellent as in all tracks of LOVE IS BEAUTIFUL. Nice and different song. MIRROR is probably one of GLAY’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to.
