This -song debut EP shows the promise that Richard Clayderman has. The Golden Collection isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. On The Golden Collection album, Richard Clayderman have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. The Golden Collection is not something you should pass up.
Only one song from The Golden Collection named Liebestraum really got me. One listen to the sheer beauty of Plaisir D’Amour was all I needed. Ballade For Adeline - A catchy, upbeat tune. The sound of Moon River is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Tristesse motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. For Elise is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Richard Clayderman ever produced. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Moonlight Sonate stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Love Story (Love Theme) I just LOVE this mix! Careless Whisper is a song to enjoy for years to come. I now have Strangers In The Night as one of my personal favorites. A great put together song. Serenade is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Sonate Au Clair De Lune is Richard Clayderman’s best work in years. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Musically La Vie En Rose is superior to other tracks in The Golden Collection. We Are The World (2:46) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Eleana is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Arrivederci, Roma is the song that really did it for me. Guantanamera - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Four Seasons (Medlay) is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Once Largo gets in your head, it will NEVER leave.
