Since completing 0’s ‘Cztery’, Kaliber 44 fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. I am not a real Pop music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Trzecia Czterdziesci Cztery’ really is amazing. Lead single “Cztery” and “Baku baku ciezkie jest jak cut” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Lots of variety between tracks. Baku baku ciezkie jest jak cut is the song that really did it for me. Masz albo myslisz o nich is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Co robisz is astounding. Kaliber 44 allows each song to breathe and flourish. Opening track Normalnie O Tej Porze shows the best of Kaliber 44. Wena is one of these floating songs. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Rutyny is my favorite song on Trzecia Czterdziesci Cztery. Although Dwa is very melodic it is far from sad. In Baku Baku to jest sklad Kaliber 44 is at his best. Litery is a fine track on any terms. Konfrontacje is worth the money. Takie jakie jest has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. The sound of Jeden is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created.
