First Vision is possibly the best song Yoko Kanno has come up. Colors - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Into GAEA is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Yoko Kanno released so far. Appearance of the Dragon Armor is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. I think Horse Ride is the best song Yoko Kanno has ever done. Gaia Sheep which is my favorite is a truly Yoko Kanno sounding song. Within the first few notes of Regret it’s perfectly clear that Yoko Kanno is living this song. Vocals of Yoko Kanno in Bird Song really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Sora is a medium tempo tune. A Girl In Gaia (Escaflowne Movie) couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Alseides. The Hurt - arguably the best track on A Girl In Gaia (Escaflowne Movie) album. Take My Hands - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Organ Pub is a perfect sing-along. What cha Gonna Do presents the cool mix of instruments on A Girl In Gaia (Escaflowne Movie). Charming song, great melody. When I listen to Torushina in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Black Escaflowne - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Tree of Hearts good vocals. We re Flying is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Strong, powerful vocals of Yoko Kanno in Who Will Save are very impressive. Final Vision as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Nomitori Song is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Album opener You re Not Alone is a bright, upbeat ditty. Call Your Name (piano ver - bonus) is the more seemingly obscure song on A Girl In Gaia (Escaflowne Movie) that bear up best to repeated listening.
