Lead single “True Blue” and “Lost Paraguayos” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. After seeing True Blue, I had to have a good Rod Stewart cd. Lost Paraguayos is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Mama, You Been On My Mind is exquisite and different song. Italian Girls rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Angel - A classic Rod Stewart track. Interludings is the song that really did it for me. Blew our minds when we first heard You Wear It Well. I think I’d Rather Go Blind is the best song Rod Stewart has ever done. Best song on the album, love it.
