The Rod Stewart Album is an amazing album, racked with beauty. It’s natural for Rod Stewart to take a stab at ‘Street Fighting Man’ considering her long-professed love for Paul Oakenfold. The Rod Stewart Album isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. The Rod Stewart Album is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Man Of Constant Sorrow is a medium tempo tune. I’ve found myself listening to Blind Prayer back to back and back many times. The sound in Handbags and Gladrags is really warm and Rod Stewart’s signature voice is still very much present. An Old Raincoat Won’t Ever Let You Down - Check out that bassline! One of the songs that always stick in my mind is I Wouldn’t Ever Change A Thing because the melody in the chorus is so good. I can’t stop humming along Cindy’s Lament. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing.
